Increasing the Adaptability of Workers and Employees in Ellatzite-Med AD through On-the-Job and Integrated Training

 

The team of CMVT EAD in partnership with Ellatzite-Med AD have successfully completed their work on the project “Increasing the Adaptability of Workers and Employees in Ellatzite-Med AD through On-the-Job and Integrated Training” under the Operational Programme “Human Resources Development” 2007-2013.

 

The project was implemented under the grant-aided scheme “Qualification Services and Training of Employed Persons”. It is focused on increasing the adaptability and mobility of the employees in Ellatzite-Med AD by improving their practical skills and abilities in key professions within the company. Some of the professions and specialties in which workers have undergone training are:
  • Foreign language learning
  • Specialized training on the profession “Welder”, specialty “Welding”
  • Specialized training on the profession “Transport Equipment Fitter”, specialty “Road Construction Equipment”.
  • Specialized training on the profession “Mining Operator”, specialty “Enrichment of Ores and Minerals”

 

The teachers conducting these vocational courses are well-regarded specialists from the University of Mining and Geology “St. Ivan Rilski” – Sofia and the Institute of Welding – Sofia. Teachers from PELSS Chelopech provided foreign language learning.

 

Training the Intermediary Management in European Social Institutions

 

CMVT EAD in partnership with Ellatzite-Med AD have implemented the project “Training the Intermediary Management in European Social Institutions” (e-Times). The e-Times project is funded under the European Commission’s programme “Leonardo da Vinci” and has duration of 24 months (01.10.2006 – 30.09.2008). The project initiator is CEU SAN PABLO (Institute of Professional Studies), Spain and its coordinator is FASE. NET, Spain.


The following results were achieved within the project:

  • Comparative study on the training needs of the staff involved in social service intitutions and comparative assessment on the use of modern information and communication technologies in partner countries.

 

  • Handbook and e-learning course for directors and intermediary management personnel in the sphere of social care services; pilot training in partner countries’ institutions for approbation of the elaborated curriculum content.

 

  • Specialized multilingual website - www.etimes-center.eu - for facilitating contacts and exchange of experience among interested organizations and individuals involved in the social service sector both at international and national levels.

 

  • Network of institutions and professionals in the sphere of social services.
